I don't watch Oprah anymore. In fact I try to stay as far away from her and her philosophies as I can, but I do wish I saw her with Ted Haggard recently. Did anyone see that show? A friend shared with me the following article printed in the Charisma magazine and I thought this viewpoint was interesting. Here it is: Last week former Colorado pastor Ted Haggard hit the talk show circuit to promote the new HBO documentary about his fall fro...
We went to see the movie "Fireproof" last night after hearing some good reviews and were not disappointed. It was really good. It starts off in the beginning with the star of the movie, Kirk Cameron, who plays a Fire Chief, chastising a rookie firefighter saying he was never, ever, to leave his partner under any circumstances during a call. His partner depended on him and needs to know he's there. It is a safety issue and very important to be ...
Two new movies. Two polar opposites. Would you care to guess which two? I'm referring to Religulous and Fireproof . Have you heard anything about them? Bill Maher is on a media tour promoting his new movie Religulous . He was even invited to "The View" recently. Imagine that. I wonder if he was given the same treatment as McCain? I don't watch "The View" so I wouldn't know for sure . Maher calls this film ...

Word had gotten around that we were being moved. My father had only recently died from typhus, which had run rampant through the crowded ghetto. My greatest fear was that our family would be separated. "Whatever you do," Isidore, my eldest brother, ...
We went to another movie last night. We saw Prince Caspian and loved it. We looked in the paper and scoped out the movies and then went online to get the review ratings. We looked at "Maid of Honor" "Prince Caspian" "Bucket List" among others. Just about all of the moves garnered bad reviews except "Prince Caspian" which got a B+. Since there were no movies above a B+ we decided to go check it out. We were not disappointed. We saw the first "Chronicles of Narn...
I had to go to Lynchburg, VA to see "Expelled; No Intelligence Allowed" because I have been so busy here with company coming and going. I want to see it again. My thoughts? Fantastic! Troubling! Jaw dropping! It's quite interesting to hear the comments from some of the Scientists about how we need to eradicate Christianity all together. This is nothing new. How many, over the centuries, have said that Christianity would be obsolete in so ...
