Common Sense Needs to Prevail
Published on February 27, 2011 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Current Events

You have to be kidding me!  Giving birth is more dangerous than abortion?  Yep, that's what the doctors and nurses in Britain are being told to tell their patients.

They just don't stop there.  They go on to advise that these same doctors should tell their patients that there is no more trauma, illness or guilt associated with terminating a pregnancy than going full term and delivering it.

Tell that to the thousands of women who have aborted their babies and lived to tell about it.  Many of them are seen marching for life every January either at their state capitols or in Washington warning others NOT to abort their unborn children like they did.  It was the trauma and guilt that pressed them to participate in these marches.

How about the many who cannot have children as a result of aborting her, at the time, unwanted child only to be told later they will never be able to have another?    How does that compare to those women who have carried their child (ren) full term going onto successful pregnancies later?

So who's telling the truth?

Well think about it.  One is a natural, every day for thousands of years, occurrence.  The other is a violent, unnatural ripping away an unborn child from his mother's womb.  Which sounds safer to you?  Emotionally?  Physically?

Common sense people.

Gimmie a break.

Understand where I have to come from here! This is how I interpret this quoted post. The sole is all that is really important and the life itself is insubstantial in the bigger scheme of things. Here we are talking about the inhumanity of infanticide, and your guy is telling you that you have already won, go figure. .........

......and I do not think things like "Be gone. You have no room here. No place here. No further authority to menace the human family …” is not going to help the cause and it even implies that there was previous authority.

Re: the highlighted: Yes, in the bigger scheme of things, namely our eternal life, our soul is really important. And that depends how we spend our life. (Enough said on that because it's going on a different theological limb).

Christians know we have already won by our Christian faith. (enough said on that for that too is going on a theological limb.)

I'll let St. Therese of Lisieux explain it...."Our lot is to work; the victory is for Jesus. When there is a question of doing good to our neighbor (in the case of abortion...our neighbor is the baby in the womb), we must let nothing deter us nor pass over anything to make things easier for ourselves."

I understand why this would be not in your thinking. It's addressed to Satan. It's telling Satan to be gone that he has no room here. Until Christ died on the Cross and redeemed all mankind, Satan ruled the world. (Enough said on this for it is going on a theological limb).

In all honesty, I do not understand why we continue to cross theology with humanity over and over again … especially when we are purported to be on the same side.

We are on the same side if you are against infanticide. People of different belief systems understand that abortion is wrong and work together in various ways to eradicate the evil practice from our land.

Whenever I reference ‘The Human Story’, all reference point to the factual evolution of humanity and are about the actual humans in this tragic story. Things like this

Robert Gilman - The Human Story - Our bodies contain ancient hydrogen formed in the first moments of the universe. Our carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and all the other heavy elements in our bodies, are the gift of supernova stars. Our cells have been perfected by the patient workings of countless bacteria through billions of years, and our organs are the gift of thousands of species that evolved during the past billion years. Our bodies are, in a sense, simply a regrouping of very ancient materials …Etc.

Gilman's Human Story requires a rebuttal, but that would take us off topic somewhat, so I'll wait for KFC to decide whether or not she wants it to be done or on a new blog.

Exactly, there is nothing in my life that can justify the title of a theological limb, just the opposite, but you do try to keep things theological for sure. When you research an article, where do you go? Personally, I look for a person that supports my ideas and that never leads me to the bible and whatnot, where you seem to spend all your time. We will never be able to discuss "The Human Story" because we have no common ground. I would discuss scientific advances in technology and the abundance of support material and you will dust off that 2000 year old book of yours ... and off we go to the races. It doesn't make any sense to me though. See, you can be nice and ask the author this question, to bad few others on JU seem to understand this concept, go figure
