Even Knowing More About Him

I know very little about Obama and when I ask others, no one else seems to know either.  So before we even consider to vote for him we should start at least getting to know the guy and his background don't ya think.  So far this about sums up all I know about him and was sent to me by a friend. 

LET ME SEE IF I HAVE THIS STRAIGHT:

HIS FATHER WAS A KENYAN, M
USLIM, BLACK - WE HAVE SEEN PICTURES OF HIS AFRICAN 'FAMILY'

HIS MOTHER IS A KANSAN, ATHEIST, WHITE-
WHERE ARE THE PICTURES OF HIS KANSAN, WHITE MOTHER AND HIS WHITE GRANDPARENTS WHO RAISED HIM?

HIS FATHER DESERTED HIS MOTHER AND HIM WHEN HE WAS VERY YOUNG AND WENT BACK TO HIS FAMILY IN KENYA

HIS MOTHER MARRIED AN INDONESIAN M
USLIM AND TOOK HIM TO JAKARTA WHERE HE WAS SCHOOLED IN A MUSLIM SCHOOL

HIS MOTHER RETURNED TO HAWAII AND HE WAS RAISED BY HIS WHITE KANSAN GRANDPARENTS

HE LATER WENT TO THE BEST HIGH DOLLAR SCHOOLS; HOW?

HE LIVES IN A $1.4 MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE THAT HE ACQUIRED THROUGH A DEAL WITH A WEALTHY FUND RAISER; HOW?

HE 'WORKED' AS A CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST IN CHICAGO - HAS NEVER HELD A PRODUCTIVE JOB.
He has never even run a corner hot dog stand. Or met a payroll. Or managed anything besides his political offices and his speeches. And he wants you to believe that he should be CEO of the most powerful and complex nation in the world, and Commander In Chief of our armed forces???

HE ENTERED POLITICS AT THE STATE LEVEL AND THEN THE NATIONAL LEVEL WHERE HE HAS MINIMAL EXPERIENCE

HE IS PROUD OF HIS 'AFRICAN HERITAGE' BUT IT SEEMS THAT HIS ONLY AFRICAN CONNECTION WAS THAT HIS AFRICAN FATHER GOT A WHITE GIRL PREGNANT AND DESERTED HER. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SPERM CARRIED A 'CULTURAL' GENE. WHERE IS THE PRIDE IN HIS WHITE CULTURE?

HE GOES (
for twenty years) TO A 'AFROCENTRIC' CHURCH THAT HATES WHITES, HATES JEWS, AND BLAMES AMERICA FOR ALL THE WORLDS PERCEIVED FAULTS AND THEN REPEATEDLY COVERS UP FOR THE PASTOR AND THE CHURCH

HE CLAIMS THAT HE COULD NOT CONFRONT HIS PASTOR BUT HE WANTS US TO BELIEVE THAT HE CAN CONFRONT NORTH KOREA AND IRAN, RIGHT!!!

YEAH, I THINK I SEE HOW HE COULD BE A UNITER AND BRING US TOGETHER. I THINK THE HOPE IS THAT HE HOPES NO ONE WILL PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER!

The Constitution of the US provides that the chief executive has a duty and responsibility to see that the laws are faithfully carried out and to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.

It's not too much to say that given the office of President with all its prestige, power and influence, we should critically examine the CHARACTER of both men. Character counts when deciding who is best to carry out Presidential duties, as Commander in Chief, negotiating treaties, granting repreives and pardons, appointing federal officials, and influencing legislation.

The moral philosophy that our nation was founded was presented explicitly in the Declaration of Independence..."We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

Obama with his 100% pro-abortion voting record has shown himself unwilling to protect Life in the womb. Barack Hussein Obama doesn't believe in this truth declared by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence. That says plenty about his character to me. If he hasn't got it right with the self-evident equal and unalienable rights of the unborn Life then he won't get it right on much of anything else.

Nope, still can't vote for Obama.

Obama's past is no more no less questionable than any other candidate who runs for public office. I can scrutinize both Obama and McCain and find good and bad things about both. I can take the same questions the original poster posed and apply them to McCain and many might be surprised at some of the answers you come up with.

Unfortunately much of the information you have posted is factually incorrect.I too don't know as much about Obama as i would like to but i am constantly looking for more information . Unlike you however i try to make certain that the information i gather is from more than a single source and even further more than a single "reliable" source.

Really?  Well how about you tell me what is incorrect?  I have looked into the above statement and so far it checks out.  So first you give me what is "factually wrong" and I'll address it. 

The more I find out about Obama, the scarier he looks.  At lthe very least we should not be so quick electing him to the highest point of office without him having a bit more experience.  Com'on what experience does he have? A one term senator jumping right into the Presidential election?  That's not enough for me.  His connections and interest in socialism and communism is something we need to delve more into.  He literally came so much out of nowhere even Hillary's camp had no clue.  The only reason she ran, if you remember, is she carefully calculated the chances of her success and thougt she was unbeatable.  She didn't count on Obama. 

Have you ever heard of his mysterious pal, Frank?  He's Obama's childhood mentor mentioned in his book "Dreams From My Father"  It's been discovered outside of this book that he's Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist  Party member and anti-American revolutionary.  So why aren't we hearing much about these things?  In his book he's only mentioned as just "Frank." 

Remember Republican Senator Alan Keyes?   Keyes accused Obama in 2004 of being a "hard core academic Marxist".  There's reason for this accusation.

Obama admits in his books of attending socialists conferences and reading Marxist literature and being publicly identified with this Frank Davis who was involved in several communist organizations. 

I think the people we most heavily associate with such saysl alot about who we are.  His close associations with Rev Wright, Frank Davis and Oprah says alot.  He's not thinking about America here.  He's thinking outside our borders and globally.  There seems to be more talk about Africa than America and Obama's been dropping all sorts of clues.  No wonder Oprah supported him.  Makes sense now. 

Yes, the progressives are all over him.  The new emerging church with all the young people are all over him and I believe we need to halt and take a good look at who the heck this Obama coming out of nowhere really is before we mark an X by his name come November. 

I think Hillary had no idea what she was up against when she ran and he totally did a number on her....and I'm no fan of Hillary by a long shot.

Obama's past is no more no less questionable than any other candidate who runs for public office. I can scrutinize both Obama and McCain and find good and bad things about both. I can take the same questions the original poster posed and apply them to McCain and many might be surprised at some of the answers you come up with.


Would it be too much to ask for you to do it? I mean I always find it interesting how people can argue they can do the same but don't go any further than saying it. I am interested in knowing what might surprise me by the answers. Would you be up to it or is this all scare talks?

It's very interesting how many of the comments made are so biased that if bias can me turned to energy we would have power for the next millennium.

Hows about we have opinions based on the candidates and not their political affiliation. Sure that is also important, Republicans wanna vote for Republicans and Democrats for Democrats. But to put down the other candidate simply because e is of the opposing party is kinda like never giving a chance period due to being bias.

I don't wish to go further because my intent is not to smear McCain but only show others that he is no perfect angel. So u can question how Obama pays for his house and i can tell you the same way McCain paid for all of his many...mainly through proceeds from book sales.
Or you can question how Obama got into the exclusive Punahou school and i can tell u because his grandfather worked for one of the administrators there. Not much difference from McCain going to Annapolis. Im sure the fact that his father was an Alumni and Admiral helped that along but it really does not matter.

Its all about policies and if u dont take the time to figure out how much of the smear disseminated by the power players in both parties is meant to make voters vote for a party that doesn't even benefit them then you have fallen into their trap.

In the case of politics, wikipedia is not a trustworthy information source.  Often pages are edited with strong bias.  Wikipedia in general has shown a very strong pro-liberal, anti-corporate slant in how articles are edited.  Read the G W Bush article specifically to see an example.  The voice of the text is very obviously slanted.

And KFC you still haven't actually posted anything Obama himself has said that would be damning.  He attended Marxist conferences?  Read the literature?  Has friends who are communist, muslim etc?  I went to a Campus Republicans meeting or two in college, I even attended a baptist youth group in high school.  I am neither a republican nor a baptist.  I have friends who believe in Islam, Judaism, who are athiests and agnostics.  I have friends and family who are nearly militant liberals, and who are just as equally extreme to the conservative side. 

Guess what?  None of those people are me.  Their views are not my views.  My association with them does not imply anything.  It says NOTHING about who I am other than I have a diverse group of friends and a family that gets into some heated discussions at reunions.

Personally, if given the choice between someone who ONLY associates with Christians (or Muslims, or Jews, or whites or blacks or whatever) and someone who seems to get along ok with just about everyone... I want the guy with the greater diversity of friends. 

But again, I'm not saying Obama is necessarily a good candidate.  I'm just as interested in learning about him, what his positions are, what his policies would be as you are.  But you're still approaching this with a closed mind.  You've already made up your mind if any of your comments or posts are any indication.  Now you're just looking for supporting evidence to justify your prejudgement.

Indeed Wikipedia is not a definitive source but for me at least a good starting point. It has direct links and more importantly footnotes that link to other sources to backup some of the information it lays out. Its difficult to find good political sources but at east Wikipedia is not a political blog that only links to other political blogs. It's footnotes link to major news outlets including the major media networks PBS VOA BBC,etc. and various govt websites.
