Who Are You Voting For?
Published on June 10, 2008 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Republican

I've been thinking.

I do that from time to time.

Anyhow, I've been thinking I have no choice but to vote.

Earlier in the year I said, and meant it, that I felt I could not vote the way things were going.  I'm not excited about any of the candidates at all.  I've said repeatedly I'm not a McCain supporter and I had no desire to vote for him.

Of course many razzed me saying no vote is a vote for Hillary or Obama.  So what?  To me they all looked alike once you get past color and gender.

Anyhow I've been thinking.

Now it's down to two.  Obama and McCain.

When all is said and done I have to admit Senator McCain has not spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America.

Quite the opposite.  He paid a huge price for resisting our enemies even as they held him prisoner and tortured him.   What has Obama done?  What has he proven to us?

The choice is a no brainer.

I'm voting for McCain.

I will too.

Not because I am really enthused by him, but because I don't let an election day go by without voting...just because I can.

Obama hasn't spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America either but you wouldnt know that if simply wish to believe the spin without actually doing some research. Since the rep party has damaged itself so badly I suspect the Dems will win enough seats in congress to override vetos if McCain gets elected so the decision lies in who you want to be nominating court judges,be Commander-In Chief, and who you want to control the withdrwal from Iraq...Yes withdrawal because if you had watched the negotiations between the Us and Iraqi government which was broadcast on CSPAN the other day you would know that the majority of parties in the Iraqi parliment want the US troops out (the only difference is the timetable within which to do it), don't want long term US bases within their sovereign terrritory and dont think the U.S. should have ever invaded Iraq. So although we did get rid of Hussein which will hopefully end up being a good thing, I wonder if we will ever be able to say Mission Accomplished.

There aren't only two running, and a legitimate Conservative's name will be on the ticket in every state.  Consider all the candidates whose names will be on the ballot for President before you settle for someone who has already pledged their allegience to the House and Senate Democrats.

so the decision lies in who you want to be nominating court judges

That's pretty much it in a nut shell.

You claim you think yet your statement that you are voting McSame belies that allegedly existent thought.

Except one has sworn to follow the constitution, and McSame has promised to continue the Bush destruction of the US economy while slaughtering as many US soldiers as he can in Iraq.

The choice is a no brainer.

And if you vote for McSame it is obvious you have no brains.

What has Obama done?

Actually SUPPORTED the constitution, unlike McSame who recently stated that he belives the rights of the president supersede the law and the constitution?
on Jun 11, 2008

Actually SUPPORTED the constitution,

really he's a supporter of the constituion?  What part?  The part that will elect him President?  Because last I knew he objected to saluting the flag or wearing a flag pin.

Besides that's sort of vague.  Tell me something he's done or believes about our country.  I'm a little skeered abut the "changing our country part" he's been expousing of late.

And if you vote for McSame it is obvious you have no brains.

You claim you think yet your statement that you are voting McSame belies that allegedly existent thought.

Politico

Has anyone ever told you...you are rude?  I hope I'm not the first.  Someone is not doing you any favors otherwise.

Sorry, but the joke has to be made with a title like that . . .

You're right. Only people with no brains would vote for McCain.

ha!  So you're saying it takes BRAINS to vote for Obama?  Tell me what brain cells are telling you to vote for this man who has done nothing, came out of complete nowhere, has no experience anywhere and has a questionable view of this country?

McCain, at least has done service, been around a long time and proven his love for his country.

He's not my favorite by a long shot, but I think you'd have to be absolutely brain dead to vote for Obama.  I see the young kids flocking to him in droves.  Not smart.

oh...and to boot.

I just got off the phone with my 90 year old grandmother who is practically in hysterics. She's a die-hard democrat her whole life and is incensed that Obama made it this far. She watches CNN 24/7 and still says she knows practically NOTHING about this man.

She's actually referring to him as the Anti Christ that we've been waiting for.

Who knows? Maybe he is!
on Jun 11, 2008
I thought Bush was the anti-Christ?

haven't heard that one......

Or was that Clinton...

hmmmmmm well maybe "an anti-christ"

Could it be....HUCKABEE?

nah. He's too......well....too Baptist!

I have no idea who "the AC" is nor do I pretend to know. Somewhere along the line it will be most evident but not before he charms and speaks his way to the top. So that's one reason Bush didn't qualify. This AC will be a smooth orator telling people what they want to hear.

Could it be....HUCKABEE?

Yarp! The proof has been given.

QED.

Just as a point of curiosity, what has Obama done to aid and abet the enemy?

Your argument above has virtually nothing to do with who either candidate is or what their positions are, it's almost entirely an issue of experience.  If that's a major selling point for you, fine, but don't twist it into something else to make Obama look like a terrorist lover is a bit dishonest.

Personally, I wish Obama had waited 4-8 years before running, get some more experience under his belt to make him a stronger candidate.  I think this run is way too early for him and if he is elected, he'll have a troubled one-term presidency.
