Who Are You Voting For?
Published on June 10, 2008 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Republican

I've been thinking.

I do that from time to time.

Anyhow, I've been thinking I have no choice but to vote.

Earlier in the year I said, and meant it, that I felt I could not vote the way things were going.  I'm not excited about any of the candidates at all.  I've said repeatedly I'm not a McCain supporter and I had no desire to vote for him.

Of course many razzed me saying no vote is a vote for Hillary or Obama.  So what?  To me they all looked alike once you get past color and gender.

Anyhow I've been thinking.

Now it's down to two.  Obama and McCain.

When all is said and done I have to admit Senator McCain has not spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America.

Quite the opposite.  He paid a huge price for resisting our enemies even as they held him prisoner and tortured him.   What has Obama done?  What has he proven to us?

The choice is a no brainer.

I'm voting for McCain.

You're right. Only people with no brains would vote for McCain.

You're right. That joke had to be made.

Now that that's over:

Obama/Winfrey 2008. Is he the anti-christ? I don't know, but if he is, he has his false prophet... The power she weilds, along with the new self focused... thing... she's pushing...

hmmmmm didn't think about that one Jay. She's way out there that's for sure. Her world wide guru activities of late would certainly help her position.

Who knows.....maybe he should elect her as his VP.    Who would able to beat that duo?

Just as a point of curiosity, what has Obama done to aid and abet the enemy?

Well my point wasn't about aiding the enemy so much as it was his not fully supporting our country as he seems to have another country forefront in his mind. I'm just saying McCain has proven himself loyal but I'm not seeing this with Obama and his background seems to have alot to do with this.

His activities and family ties with militant Muslims including the possiblility of campaiging for one(Luo Raila Odinga) who claims to be Obama's cousin in Africa in 06 is suspect. I'm still looking into that as I'm just starting to uncover these facts.

Ok, how has he not fully supported the country?  The lapel pin?  Is that the best that anyone can come up with?

I'll also ask this question here... what does it matter if his family has members who are muslim?  Even militant ones?  Are you telling me that no one in your family is a little bit off their rocker?  Should we judge you by the actions of members of your family?

I've been digging in Google for a while for references to Obama actively supporting militant islamists.  The closest I can come up with is his support of Raila Odinga, a cousin (supposedly) versus Mwai Kibaki in the recent Kenyan Presidential Election.

The problem here is that there's nothing definite.  It's all guilt by association with almost nothing concrete to back it up.  Is there anything to prove that he would enact policies in line with islamic law?  Has he ever claimed or made any statements even close to that?  Has he ever tried to bring a law to the senate floor, or cosponsored any bill that would imply it?

I have a sister who is left of jesus and extremely passionate about her views.  But the fact that she has those views in no way influences my voting, or how I lead my life.

If you actually do some research you will find plenty of information about Raila Odinga and when u further research the issue involving a pact made with the muslim leaders in Kenya you will find that this statement within a BBC article:

Muslim leaders decided to make the pact public after a document circulated on the internet claimed that Mr Odinga's ODM had pledged to introduce Sharia in parts of the country where Muslims are in the majority.

Raila Odinga (front row with hat) at the ODM 2007 election campaign launch
The ODM is hoping Mr Odinga can hold on to his poll lead

"There was a fear that Muslims will force their faith on other people, Islam does not allow suppression of other religions and we will be the last to advocate for this," said Abdullahi Abdi of the National Muslim Leaders Forum.

Instead the memorandum of understanding, signed in August, states that Mr Odinga has pledged to defend Muslims against harassment and victimisation by state security forces who claim to be fighting terrorism."

If you search further you will find this info backed up by a similar article posted on a VOA website.

Imagine that Kenya faces some of the same problems we do. And their political campaigns present the same challenge.....sifting through partisan fodder to find the truth..

Although i grew up in a Christian family i no longer actively attend any church. But it truly saddens me to see someone who wears their religion on their shirt be such a hypocrite....or maybe even heretic would be fitting.

No there's alot of stuff that gives me and others pause.  You mentioned just one.  The fact that he was seen arms stiff at his sides while the pledge was being recited.  His heavy inolvment with Kenyen Muslim politics even doing some campaigning there.  His invovment including giving large sums of money to Rev Wright and his causes.  His wife's admission of how she had never been proud of the US until just recently etc.  Never?

Where have you been?

I'll also ask this question here... what does it matter if his family has members who are muslim? Even militant ones? Are you telling me that no one in your family is a little bit off their rocker? Should we judge you by the actions of members of your family?

I think his background especially when it's so heavily Muslim influenced should be looked into.  Yes.  How do you know he's not a mole for the Muslim cause?

We all have family eccentrics and should not be held accountable but that's not what I'm speaking of.  Besides, if you look closer at his friends connection there should also be some eyebrowing raising like I mentioned on my other blog dealing with this same issue.  Friends like Rev Wright, his childhood mentor Frank Davis and even Oprah the most powerful woman in America.

All I'm saying is, his lack of experience, his questionable background and current affiliations, his seemingly lack of patriotism and the fact he just came out of nowhere should give us all pause.  It's just common sense.  He's young enough.  If he's Presidential material, then let's see him back in four years after he's been in the spotlight a bit.  Right now that's why I'm saying this is a no brainer.

We would be really stupid to jump the gun and put this man in the Presidential seat when there still seems to be so many questions surrounding him.

You just buy whatever you're sold, don't you? Come on, my friend, I expect a little more critical thinking from you than this.

Gimme a break. The 'questions surrounding him' are lies spun by vicious people with ulterior motives. Two seconds of research will prove most allegations against Obama false.

Keep in mind he wasn't even my choice, but I won't stand around and have these libelous things bandied about on here.

But only for black people!

Do you actually believe your ignorant racism?

Is it hard to type from under your hood?

He's also for killing as many white police as possible.

Remember its McSame who has promised to spend the next 100 years getting US soldiers killed in Iraq.

on Jun 12, 2008

Because last I knew he objected to saluting the flag or wearing a flag pin.

Then you know very little because neither of those things are correct.

on Jun 12, 2008

I'm a little skeered abut the "changing our country part" he's been expousing of late.

Yeah I would much rather we not change anything and continue the Bush led destruction of our nation.

on Jun 12, 2008

Has anyone ever told you...you are rude?

Has anyone ever suggested to you that I give a fuck what a Republican thinks?  If they did they lied to you.

on Jun 12, 2008

done nothing, came out of complete nowhere, has no experience anywhere and has a questionable view of this country?

What does Bush have to do with this?

on Jun 12, 2008

I just got off the phone with my 90 year old grandmother who is practically in hysterics.

If I was related to you I would be in hysterics that someone would figure that out too.
