KFC, what SanChonino said is correct. If you would just go and read the press release about WV and not just the bloody headline you would see that Romney one the first round but then McCain's camp told their voters to vote for Huckaphony. You took it as something significant hook line and sinker but it wasn't.

Your candidate sold his soul to crooked politics and you still love him for it. I guess you'll be happy with him being veep on the ticket?

Romney spent millions of dollars on attack ads and ran the ugliest campaign, so its funny to watch a his supporters feign outrage. One thing is certain... talk shows and far right internet blogs do not decide elections. Romney is out.

Anthony, I don't know if you were responding to me but I'll take it as if you were. First of all I am not a supporter of Romney. Romney wasn't my first, second, or even third choice. I know you have reserve against Romney but still wait for a more in depth analysis of your dislike. All that I have seen is grotesque generalities that ALL of the candidates are guilty of.

You've made it clear that McCain has your vote and is your kool-aid of choice. That's fine. You have that right.

Careful now. I didn't lump her with being a conservative as that is oil and water. I said that it could be argued that she is more conservative than McCain. Meaning more to the right on the left hand side.

For one thing he's really the ONLY Republican staying true to the GOP. McCain is vey liberal and I see him as more of a Dem than a Repub .....some of the reasons I can ONLY vote for Huck? Ok here's a few:

Abortion: He's the only one that has been brave enough to come out and say abortion is just plain wrong. He seems to me to be the only one that understands how important this issue is. He "gets it." He sees the slaughter of these innocent babies safe in their mother's womb as barbaric. So do I.

Homosexual Special Rights & Marriage: He's against homosexual marriage and the special rights of the Homosexuals. Romney, on the other hand had his hands full in MA pushing funding for the pro-homo indoctrination of school age children, homosexual Boy Scout Leaders, and homosexuals serving openly in the military. Not sure where McCain is but he did vote against the Federal Marriage Amendment.

Taxes-Huckabee is fiscally conservative cutting taxes many, many times leaving Arkansas with a surplus. I lived in Maine and I heard the stories coming out of MA on Romney's tax and spend plans. He doesn't believe in cutting anything. He has a socialist agenda just like Hillary. He didn't call his millions of dollars tax hike a tax by the way.....he called them fees and left the state in chaos. I'm actually stunned his own state voted him in. Everyone I knew hated his ideas. Check out his healthcare plan.

Gun Control-Huck is pro second amendment. He's a staunch supporter of our rights on this issue. Romney is not. In fact, he signed some of the strictest gun controls in the country. I'm not sure about McCain here. He seems to have a mixed bag from what I've read.

Federal Marriage Amendment (FMA)-Huck strongly supports marriage between one man and one woman. So do I. McCain fought hard against it. Romney has said he supports traditional marriage but he's done some funky things in office I'm not so sure he's quite there. In other words, his talk doesn't match his walk. So really not quite sure where he stands.

Besides all this....I just like him. Do I think he's perfect? No. But I've yet to see a reason NOT to vote for him outside of some petty talk. I didn't like what AD brought up about the ads to be honest. But it's still not enough for me not to vote especially when I look at the choices in front of me. I heard him speak over a year ago and was very impressed with him having no idea he would be running for President at the time. When I first heard he threw his bid into the ring to run, I knew almost immediately he was at least worth my attention.

That's why I say, I don't have a choice. I can't in good conscience vote for any of the others. I just can't. This may be the first year I don't vote at all when it comes down to the big day.

For those reasons I would not vote for Huckabee.

Gays should have the same damn right to be married...period. It's their lives, not yours and you will be in no way affected by it. If two gay dudes or gals want to shack up, then I'm all for them...I don't see the problem with it. Heterosexual couples sure don't seem to give a crap about marriage...a 50% divorce rate kind of blows that sacredness out of the water.

Also, you can't keep cutting taxes and borrowing from other countries all the time...do you know how much we've been spending since the war started? If we're cutting taxes where's all that cash coming from?
