While I can't take credit for this (sent to me by a friend) I can express the same sentiments.  So for all my liberal and conservative friends out in JU land and elsewhere!

To All My Liberal-Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for

an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,

non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday,

practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion

of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the

religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice

not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a

fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated

recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but

not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures

whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to

imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the

only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without

regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith

or sexual preference of the wish.

To My Conservative-Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I gave up caring about empty headed liberals.  I guess that is anti-christian, but I sleep  better at night,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well!

Merry Christmas KFC to you and yours. As for New Years, it's coming, hopefully it will be a happy one for all.

The same right back at you KFC!

That's unfortunate; the world really can't stand to lose anymore compassionate people, and I say that regardless of political persuasion. There's no denying that the world has tons and tons of suffering.

Personally, I think it is great that we have religious/faith based people AND secular people helping others. Sure, sometimes one method works better than the other, but bottom line - people are making a difference and improving lives. They're working to bring others peace, joy, and happiness to others' lives.  Bravo.

That said, to each their own.

It's _colour_!

I am so disappointed that you exclude adherents of normal spelling in your greeting.

Merry Christmas, KFC.

Nah, America has always been a cattle country, so they hate ewes.

To people of all race, sex, color, colour, political affiliation, culture, religion and anything else that anyone cares about and even aliens from another planet or country:

And if it offends you then too bad.
