There's a lesson in here somewhere. Loose lips sink ships? It's better to keep your mouth shut and let others think you're a fool than to open it and remove all doubt? Don't let the cat out of the bag? Put up or shut up? Or how about.....say what you mean and mean what you say?

Anyway, you'd think with the way the world is sinking fast and furious there would be alot less talk and a lot more action.

Nope.

*Sigh* bring back the good ol' days when a man's words (or woman's) really meant something. Take a look at this contrast of words.

1. Uh, Gore never claimed he invented the internet. Go check out snopes, or heck, here.

2. I'm proud of having FDR, Kennedy, etc. Pelosi, Reid, Jackson....No comment.

3. Every party has it's idiots and genius'.

Well, one could argue this topic. Snopes is correct in saying that Al Gore never really claimed to have invented the internet but he did say "I took the initiative in creating the Internet" which is what had everyone, to this date, going on with the joke. So one could say this was more of a poor choice of words or not well expressed for people who will take anyone and spin it like a top.

2. I'm proud of having FDR, Kennedy, etc. Pelosi, Reid, Jackson....No comment.

Sad, isn't it?

3. Every party has it's idiots and genius'.

Yea, but they are usually together under the same administrations or year, not separated by decades.

Unfortunately... Though, the GOP has had its share of nut jobs and paranoid folks. The only one that I've slowly come to terms with after reading about him, his interviews, etc. is Nixon. He was certainly brilliant, but seriously had issues; none-the-less, I've come to find a sense of humanity in him, so to speak. It's hard to explain.

Indeed, and my opinion is that: 1) He never said it. 2) He could have implied it, but then gain a lot could be implied by what someoen says. I mean, seriously, that's why we have double entendres. 3. Kidding aside, yeah.

Foolish politicians separated by decades? Now that is wishful thinking. I think we as citizens run the gamut for fools and idiots. I mean, we do re-elect the fools, er, politicans. So yeah, who's the fool/idiot then?
