Thoughts on The Gaza Conflict
Published on January 14, 2009 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Current Events

I would like to begin by saying that my thoughts and prayers are for those innocents caught or trapped in the middle of all this and cannot escape.   There are innocent men, women and children with no recourse but to hide and wait out this terrible time in and around the City of Gaza.

Let's get some things straight.  Let's look at the facts.  Let's not get caught up in emotion.

Hamas is an evil, wicked, murderous organization with a goal clearly stated.  They want Israel annihiliated....period.  It's written in thier own constitution that they will use women and children as human shields to obtain that objective.  They acknowledge in their own documents that they have no interest in setting up two states, a Palestinian one and a Jewish one.  Their objective is to wipe Israel off the map totally.  That's the whole purpose for their existence.

Right now there is about 20,000-30,000 people involved in this Hamas organization primarily funded by Iran and mostly restricted in and around Gaza.  Hamas is nothing more than an arm of Iran.   Hamas has launched over 3,000 missiles in the last 8 years aimed directly at Israel.  They have over 300 tunnels, in sections miles long, going into Egypt some individual tunnels as long as a mile and a half with depths of 90 feet under the earth.  They are smuggling weapons in thru these tunnels.

It's clear, by the current events, that Israel has no intention of making the same mistake with Hamas they did with Hezbolloh in 2006.  This group, distinct from Hamas, but with the same purpose (wipe out Israel) were also firing missiles but from Southern Lebanon.

Back in July of 2006 Israel withdrew from Lebanon because of intense pressure before they could totally wipe out Lebanon's infrastructure.  Lebanon fired well aimed rockets into Israel with the ability to hit the targets successfully and Israel, back then, also defended herself.  That is,  until the world screamed.

Although Israel went into Lebanon they never finished the job because all the nations of the world got on Israel's back and put tremendous pressure on them to withdraw.  Israel had no choice, surrounded by enemies dependent on them for supplies they had no choice but to withdraw.  So today with Lebanon's infrrastructure repaired and up and going stronger than ever Israel now sees this was a mistake that will not happen again with Hamas.

Israel now must go in with precision and take out Hamas totally.  The world will scream, once again, especially as civilians undoubtedly will be caught in the crosshairs and will pay the price.  We need to remember that it is Hamas who are putting these people in harm's way by hiding behind the innocents.  Because of the media attention and because they value human life  Israel has no choice but to go in with ground troops.  By doing so they are putting their own soldiers at risk when in all reality this whole conflict could have been over in about two hours with carefully launched bombs and rockets aimed directly at the Gaza hotspots.

There are three big groups out after Israel.  Hamas, funded by Iran and mostly constrained in the Gaza strip area.  Hezbolloh coming from Southern Lebanon funded by Syria and Iran (money from oil) and Alqaeda with cells all over the world who not only have Israel in their sights but the United States as well.

Bush wasn't kidding when in his latest appearance warned that we are surrounded by those who want to kill us.  This is a real and present danger and we should not be taking this lightly as some are doing with their loud empty screaming against Israel.  For what?  Fighting a very wicked, murderous group whose only objective is to kill and murder all the Jews?  For defending themselves against a real live enemy?

We should be thanking Israel for doing what nobody else will do out of some twisted political correctness.  They are going after the bad guys.  Israel is not the bad guy.

It's going to get nasty and it's a ways from being finished but I can guarentee with utmost satisfaction that Israel will come out on top as they always have.  Most don't know that Michael (the archangel) a messenger from God himself, has been watching over Israel as her protector and guardian as the world moves closer and closer to the ultimate battle called Armageddon in the Valley of Megiddo.

"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people (Daniel's people, the Jews) and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation (Jewish) even to that same time and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."  Daniel 12:1

Israel shouldn't stop until this job is finished imo.

And WE (the US) should have her back against the rest of the world so she can finish cleaning house.

And yet they will go to great lengths to protect their loved ones, even to the point of killing an attacker.  But they cannot afford the same feelings of protection to Israel.

It really boggles the mind.  I have to ask again why any Jew would want to be associated with what is now the new brown shirts of the world.

It's my opinion also.  Actually everyone I've talked to so far seems to be backing Israel.  Most of the complaining I see via the media seems to be coming from the Muslim side.  Why aren't they screaming at Hamas?  That's what boggles my mind.

I'm hoping not this time MM.  Have you noticed that Egypt, Jordan, Saudia Arabia have been strangly uncharacteristically silent?  They secretely want Hamas gone as well.  They know that if Hamas gets too big for their britches and wins this battle the whole Middle East will suffer under their rage.

Yes, that's why I started this piece.  I started to reply to that other blog but found the writer so blindly anti-semitic I didn't think what I had to say would matter.

exactly.  I mean it's just common sense.  If someone is messing with you, you need to defend yourself and in this case defending yourself means to retaliate in order to protect your own.
