From time to time we read of some really ridiculous lawsuits. Here's one that got me to shaking my very dark brown mane of hair.
In the state of Conneticut a very blonde woman sued L'Oreal for a bad coloring job. She accidentally colored her own hair with a brown color she bought herself instead of a blonde shade closer to her natural color. She's claiming it has now ruined her social life.
She said she can never return to her original blonde hue and is so shocked she's now on anti-depressants. This whole experience has caused her great trauma and distress so she took it to the court system.
Because of this nastry shade of brown she mostly stays home and wears hats if she must go out. She also claims she doesn't get the attention she once enjoyed.
So it is true afterall? Blondes do have more fun? Dang! I can't be any further away from being blonde. I should go kill myself right now and get it over with. I guess I'm miserable with a crown of dark brown hair and I just never knew it before.
A Superior Court Judge has dismissed her 2005 claim saying she couldn't prove the wrong color was in the wrong box and L'Oreal denies this would ever happen. Geeesh what if she could prove it? I wonder how much this would have been worth?
Her attorney has declined to comment.
