We always check our CC statements making sure all is proper before we make a payment as I'm sure most do.

Well we just recieved our latest CC bill in the mail with a questionable charge.  It was only for a bit over $5.00 so we almost didn't bother but decided to call anyhow because it just didn't make sense.   It wasn't like any charge we would have made.

On the statement it said we purchased something from "imagesparadise.com." 

So we called today and found out the CC company had put a hold on our charge because of this small charge.  Come to find out this is a fraudulent company and our CC company was well aware of this fake company. 

They only put out very small charges like five or six or seven dollars thinking people will just pay it and not bother checking.  I'm sure some do this without realizing thinking maybe another family member charged something to the account.  I could see how this could work. 

Well the only thing with us is it set off our frugal alarm and we checked into it.  Glad we did now. 

The CC company is going to issue us a new card after removing this bogus charge.  The interesting thing is this is the only card we use for internet purchases.  So we're thinking maybe it has to do with dealing with the net. 

I went online and googled "imagesparadise.com" and got all sorts of complaints by others like us who have been erroneously charged. 

So check your CC folks and make sure you don't have an "imagesparadise.com" entry because you may have just been scammed.
