Everyone is looking for the cheapest gas station these days.  Last I heard the average amount it takes to fill up a car now is $77.

We filled up our rental from almost dead empty and it cost us $52!!  Yikes.  Thank goodness I'm a biker and have a golf cart as an alternative.

Here the average price is about $3.69.  What is it near you?

Here's a way to find out the cheapest in your area by zip code.  Click on the MSN link and put in your zip code.  It's pretty cool and you'll know ahead of time the cheapest place to go.

We need all the help we can get.

That's pretty cool.  I'll have a zip code again in a few months (finally coming home to the good ole US).  Gas prices is not something I'm looking forward to.  We use purchased coupons here for gas.

Interesting. Purchased ahead of time?   What happens if you run out of coupons?  Do you buy more or are you only allotted so many?

Low: $3.72
Avg: $3.82
High: $3.88

The saddest part is we are 50 miles from a ConocoPhillips refinery.

You win.

So far Erath has the best price.  It's pretty sad when 3.45 looks good.  (

On the news here they had a report of an owner of gas station near the Orlando airport who was taking advantage of his location to gouge customers.  Seems alot of rental cars pull in here to fill up their casr before returning them.  When you drive into the gas station there is no indicator of price until you check the pump and he's got it over $5 a gallon.

cost me $37.75 for 10 gal. two weeks ago.....

Right now it's $3.72 here where I am.

Yesterday in Duluth gas was $3.85  so it'll easily be $4.00 before summer!
