Did you hear this one? Ohhhhh you have to hear this.
How stupid can one be ...........expecting us to be as stupid as she?
It seems as tho a 37 year old lawyer and TV commentator has a bit of a problem.
She is a compulsive gambler and now she's suing the casinos for racketeering; for separating her from her mooola! Yep. She's chasing another long-shot.
Gotta give her credit. She's consistent and persistent.
It seems she started out as an ambitious lawyer and TV commentator who started going to Atlantic City casinos for fun and soon was involved in high-roller action that included limousine service whisking her right to the resort for her daily playtime.
She spent much time at the blackjack tables as her gambling spun out of control, staying days at a time at these tables. She was so bitten by the gambling bug she wouldn't leave even to eat and sleep. She was hooked.
Her losses totaled almost $1 million. So now she's bringing a $20 million racketeering lawsuit against six Atlantic City casinos and another in Las Vagas claiming they should have stopped her by cutting her off. They should have counseled her to stop. They should have made her see that she had a compulsion.
She's saying this is their duty to notice such things. She says they have a duty to care for her when they saw the length of time she spent at these tables. They had a duty to point out to her that she was not of her right mind.
Say what? A 37 year old lawyer needs a blackjack babysitting service? Can you imagine had they tried to stop her? She would have sued them for NOT allowing her to lose her $1 million.
Because of her gambling compulsion she has lost her law practice, her apartment, her parents' home and still owes the IRS $58,000. She also dipped into her clients' escrow accounts to finance her gambling habit. She was disbarred and now faces criminal charges and is now trying to avoid a prison term.
Hmmmm I wonder if she even paid off her college debt yet?
Get this. With all this self-made misery she actually considered swerving into oncoming traffic to kill herself. Do you see a pattern here? I can just imagine some mom with kids in the van dying because this very selfish, not thinking of anybody but me, young woman decides she doesn't want to face the consequences of her very bad decisions.
Of course the Casinos deny all wrongdoing saying this lady brought it all on herself. But it's still going forward to the court system. I wonder who is paying her lawyers?
Can you believe it?
