For RDP's
Published on March 4, 2008 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Current Events

There's now a new tax law for Registered Domestic Partners (RDP).  It reads:

Effective for taxable years beginning on or after January 1,2007, RDPs under CA law must file their California income tax returns using either the married/RDP filing jointly or married/RDP filing separately filing status.  RDPs will have the same legal benefits, protections, and responsibilities as married couples unless otherwise specified.

For purposes of California income tax, references to a spouse, a husband, or a wife also refer to a California Registered Domestic Partner (RDP) unless otherwise specified.  When we use the initials (RDP) they refer to both a California Registered Domestic "Partner" and a California Registered Domestic "Partnership" as applicable.  For more information on RDPs, get FTB Pub. 737, Tax Information for Registered Domestic Partners.

I also received a news release last week that Govenor Arnold signed some new legislation making it mandatory in the schools to be pushing the Homosexual Agenda starting with the grade schools on up.  It's not going to be lawful anymore to be talking about mommy and daddy's.   So I wasn't surprised to see this on the heels of that release.

Right now there is a movement in CA for those opposed to these new regulations in the school system to start pulling the kids out.  The churches have been asked to take up the slack and help these parents who may not have the resources or money to be able to pull their children out to homeschool or private school them.

I'm sure many are watching California right now to see how this all plays out.

To simply fight against this means refusing to acknowledge that gays have the right to live a normal life like any other people means you hold them as lower being than yourself.

Not true. Simply fighting against them is to disagree with their agenda. And there are many reasons. Sadly, we can no longer debate the issue because of the rhetoric that says "if you disagree then you hate me". Taht is only true for those who no longer have an argument and must resort to emotive debate instead of reasoned debate.

I disagree with Gays and marriage. I agree with Gays and Civil unions. I guess that makes me hate them (I got to send this to my brother so he can get a chuckle). The truth is there is no hate in her original post (I cannot say in her heart as I do not know her heart). But there is a bias against their agenda. Some of which I agree with, some of which I do not. But until you injected hate into it, there was none here, just a discussion on issues where they do have 2 sides. not one.

I think you need to look into the mirror. Not for your hatred of gays, but of your intolerance for anyone who does not march in lock step with you.

I hate the whole homosexual agenda. I don't have a problem with gay people. It's their eternity. Right? What I have a problem with is a minority who is shoving their ideology in our faces every chance they get. I am a Christian and unlike some I don't wear it as a badge on my chest. I don't generally go telling the world or spreading the word. That isn't something I have been compelled to do since I was a child.
So here is my real issue... If I don't have the right to teach about God in schools, why do they get the right to teach homosexuality?

If homosexuality is so "natural" why do the gay activists insist it needs to be taught in schools?

Remember when schools were there to educate kids, instead of "re-educate" them.

good points.....and it's about to get worse.  I don't think we have a say anymore.  It's discouraging.  The minority once again makes the rules.

There was some booklet I read about in the news about a week ago, pushing this agenda even further.  It was sent to 16,000 Superintendents across the nation.  I'm wondering how/if we can get our hands on this now that I think about it.

The sad fact is, who made the gay agenda necessary in the first place? Well, it was those who persecuted gays. When they were left alone, nobody cared. When people started killing them because they were gay, they needed to defend themselves. So they taught tolerance, instead of the church teaching love the sinner hate the sin.

I agree that no one should be persecuted for their lifestyle choices. Gay people shouldn't be abused, but does the lifestyle have to be taught in school?

So what you're saying Jay, is once more we are making new rules and regs out of emotionalism?  We feel bad you've been treated so badly so let's go overboard to help you do freely with our blessings now what we once used to think was sin?

When we get caught up in emotion instead of using our heads we can get into some serious trouble.

I wonder how they are going to teach genetics or beginnings in health or sex-ed classes now.  No more mommy and daddy teaching.  So how will this be re-written I wonder?

That's what happened. But it wouldn't have if they hadn't been persecuted to begin with.
