Things I heard today

Today Mick Huckabee worshipped with my son David. Mike was at TRBC this morning. He gave his testimony and the place was packed. Mike sat in the front row and the media was swarming all over the place. Earlier this week Aly got to interview Ron Paul. My future daugther in law just got a job for a TV Station. She will be a reporter and my son David just got a sport's editing job for a local medium sized newspaper. It's a huge job opportunity for him that just dropped out of the sky. He's learning a ton right now. They both will graduate in May each with a degree in Communications.

I don't know if the people at TRBC knew Huck was coming. I didn't hear it announced, and I watch this service weekly on the computer. My son said he didn't hear about it ahead of time either. They also drove onto the stage a well-known Daytona Race Car. I can't remember which car and which driver, (I'll watch it later) but I guess he's pretty popular. I'm thinking it was because of this car the church was so packed since that was announced last week. Jonathan said last week that you could have your picture taken after the service with the car and driver. He said to invite all your racecar friends.

Speaking of Huckabee. Did you hear he won two more states? Louisiana and Kansas? I found this out today as well. He won Kansas with almost or about 60% of the vote. They say it will take a miracle but he's on his way. hahahahha I'm still a believer in miracles. Plus I'm usually for the underdog anyhow.

Did you hear about the bride who fell dead in her husband's arms as they danced at their wedding? She died of heart failure at just 36 years of age. What a shock that must have been to all involved. She had wanted a big Greek wedding just like the movie. It was a long awaited dream wedding only to die during the celebration. Her wedding certificate and death certificate will be dated on the same day. How sad especially for the groom left behind.

I also heard today that my house back home is going to finally have an offer attached to it. We had to leave it unsold when we moved and the market has been in the pits as we all know. Come to find out, the couple that first looked at my house last fall want it. They are not even going to look at it again. They already know they like it. They sold their home in the meantime and an offer will be forthcoming. This is great news for us. I just filled the oil tank and it cost me almost $600 to fill it. It would be nice to finally not have to worry about our empty home back home.

Congratulations on the house!  I know that is a monkey off your back.  I had to drag 2 houses around when I was younger (the old place would not sell).  It was a real drag.  I was glad when it finally sold.

well it hasn't sold yet....we're still awaiting this promised offer. We will be awfully glad when this sells as well. It's not fun paying for expenses on a Northeast home when you live so far from it. Many things to consider like pipes freezing and snow removal especially right now.
