Cedarbird there are lots on this subject. Some are just examples and there is much scripture sprinkled throughout. The examples that come to mind quickly are two. One when Appollos was preaching the wrong thing and Priscilla and Aquilla took him aside and straightened him out. I'm thinking Chap 18 of Acts. Another is Peter being chewed out by Paul for not behaving right. I'm thinking that's in Acts as well and Paul's charge to Timothy in 1 Tim 1:4.

The scripture I'd look at is anything to do with encouraging and edifying each other. So if you have a good concordance you can look much of this up yourself. The church (ecclesia) was founded by Christ for two reasons. One, of course to worship God. The other to encourage and edify his body of believers. So the scripture I'd use would be anything like 1 Thess 5:11 or Eph 4:11-16 or this one in Eph 4:29 which says:

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth but that which is good to the use of edifying, that is may minister grace to the hearers."

also you can look at Romans 12 and 1 Cor 12 which speak of the gifts given to the body. The gifts should be used to equip others in the faith for building each other up in the body. The head of the church is Christ and all his members are the body. For the body to work effectively the parts have to work together helping each other.

One of the most important things for the body to do is give glory to Christ. So if we see another member not doing so, we should speak up to one another. The way Priscilla and Aquilla handled it was good. It really should be done privately not publicly when at all possible.
