Huckabee Will Stand Alone
Published on December 2, 2007 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Politics
I heard on the news this morning, as I was getting ready for church, that Huckabee is now in the lead. Let the fun begin.

Wha-hoo!!!! I knew he'd come through!!! Too early to celebrate yet, but he's coming from behind. I love underdogs!!!

Now I'm starting to wonder if it might not be Huckabee against Obama in the final dance? I've gone on record way back now saying Huckabee against Hillary but it looks like Obama could nip Hillary in the end. I've given up on Rudy and the rest.....hmmm that sounds like a rock band.....RUDY & THE REST!!!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination is getting more and more competitive. Rudy Giuliani continues to lead nationwide with 22% support, but his lead is shrinking. Surging Mike Huckabee now attracts 17% of Likely Republican

Ya, I'm not sure what Poll was being used today that I heard on the radio...heard it in passing but think the Rasmussen Report is pretty accurate from what I know. I was just soooo excited to hear that Huckabee was leading...I actually did a little jig.

Because of this article, I took a look at the new Rasmussen polls. While he is still far behind Huckabee, I am pleased to note Ron Paul moved past John McCain, and is now one of the "big five" (Huckabee, Romney, Guiliani, and Thompson being the other four).

I'm kind of hoping his fundraising skills and populist support will cause the GOP nominee to consider Paul as a VP candidate, and his entry into the top five makes that at least a tad bit more likely.

I'm not really familiar with Ron Paul. I'll have to do a bit of checking him out to see what he's made of...lol. Maybe Huckabee will nominate him for Running Mate as you say.

I think Romney will win NH and also Obama would be my guess. Obama was really moving in NH when I left. I don't think Huckabee stands a chance in NH. Heck, Huckabee will probably get dead last in my home state. It's so blue, they're actually dead and don't know it.....

Since I am not a republican, I guess I will wait to see how the dust settles.  But I did note the juggling of the numbers.
