Evil. Even the word is ominous. What comes to mind when you think of that word evil? Jeffrey Dalmer? Eric Rudolph? Your mother in law? Hillary? (no last name needed) or how about that weird guy jumping over all the cars way back when? How about your boss or co-worker who just waits for you to screw up every day? Some describe evil as their kids out to get them. That thought usually passes after the teen years. How about the Muslim Terrorists? Do they qualify or are they just being assertive? What criteria does it take to make one evil?
Is it okay to hate evil? Or is that something that makes us just as evil? Can we hate evil without being evil ourselves? Takes one to know one kind of thing? What do others say about evil? I have a few here.
-Evil unchecked grows, evil tolerated poisons the whole system. Jawaharlal Nehru
-Evil often triumphs, but never conquers. Joseph Roux
-Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil, Isa 5:20
-Of two evils, choose the least.
-Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
-For the wages of sin is death. Rom 6:23
-All men are evil and will declare themselves to be so when occasion is offered. Sir Walter Raleigh
-I never wonder to see men wicked, but I often wonder to see them not ashamed. Jonathan Swift

--A person may cause evil to others not only by his actions but by his inaction, and in either case he is justly accountable to them for the injury. John Stuart Mill
