"Friendship is the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all out just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful, friendly hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of comfort, blow the rest away." George Eliot

"Christianity is a statement which, if false, is of no importance, and, if true, of infinite importance. The one thing it cannot be is moderately important." C.S. Lewis

"There's none so blind as won't see"

not sure, but pretty close to being scriptual.

"The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself

hahaha .....the only problem is nobody wants to hear it even if it's good.

Giving every man a vote has no more made men wise and free than Christianity has made them good."

like this one!! Christianity is not about being made good anyhow....it's about being set free.
