Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Nothing in that saying you cant mention religion.

YUP, exactly.

I can't believe that is Ohio's preamble. I mean there is nothing in the first sentence about taxes! Like, we the people of Ohio have the God given right to tax you into poverty!

buwhahahahahahah

you've got that right sista!! Might as well include my state. We're the third highest taxed state in the nation last I heard and it's usually an annual thing. We seem to like to take top honors.

The phrase "separation of church and state" appears nowhere in our Federal Constitution. It's a modern creation and has nothing at all to do with what our founding fathers had in mind for our nation.

They intended for all people of all religions to be able to freely express their beliefs both publicly and privately. The constitution only prohibits the government from passing any laws for or against a religon. Somehow it has been twisted and perverted by the PC fascists to become the total supression of any public display of religion.

Well said Mason. I agree. For some time I've been collecting quotes from our founding fathers on our religious heritage in this country, and what they said back then bears no resemblance to what is being said about them today. It's too bad our kids are not being taught the truth.
