A must see!!

A new museum is being built on 50 scenic acres near the Cincinnati Airport along 1-275, exit 11 in the city of Petersburg, Kentucky. This 50,000 square foot museum will take guests on a fascinating high-tech walk through biblical history from Genesis to Revelation and will open in the spring of 2007.

The man behind all this is Ken Ham the founder of Answers in Genesis. He is a creation research Scientist who is very well respected in the Christian community. He is my son's absolute favorite Scientist. What's really neat is we just got word that this same son will be moving to Northern Kentucky soon so this will be like a dream come true for him to be so closely associated with one of Ken Ham's works of art.

So far a little over $20 million of the needed $25 million has been raised and is projected to open as scheduled. This will be a state of the art museum with many attractions that will hold the attention of seekers of all ages. For many years most public schools, science museums, TV programs and movies have been promoting an evolutionary belief system. With the opening of this museum this will soon change and the dinosaurs will get a chance to tell their story which begins in the garden of Eden.

"Sadly, dinosaurs are probably used more than anything else in an attempt to convince children and adults that evolution is fact," says Ken Ham.

This beautiful museum sits on 50 acres in the rolling hills of Northern Kentucky and when one is finished with the tour it will be obvious that it will be unlike any other. This museum has been in the works since 1994 when Ham along with two others arrived in Kentucky with the intent to build this museum.

When visitors arrive in the lobby they will see several animatronic young T-rexes in the same room as two children who are playing in the water by a 17 foot waterfall. This museum will feature 50 full size dinosaur models including a 40 foot long, 14 foot high model of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The creation museum will wow visitors with more than 150 one of a kind exhibits that show how science confirms the Bible's account of history.

The museum exhibits director, Patrick Marsh, who played a lead role in desigining the Jaws and King Kong attractions at Universal Studios in Florida, jumped at the chance, even moving from Japan, to use his unique abilities to help communicate the Gospel to those who have no idea that the Bible is true afterall.

There will be a Stargazer's Planetarium equipped with 84 seats, a state of the art digital projector, a 30 foot aluminum dome and amazing programs written by AIG astrophysicist, Dr. Jason Lisle. This all to show that astronomy confirms the Bible's account of creation, not man's idea of evolution.

There will be a Special Effects Theater with seating for 176, guests will experience a 20 minute "visual thrill ride" that takes them through the major events of biblical history. This theater will have three screens a 360-degree sound system and seats that will spray water and blow air.

There will also be a dig site where two paleontologists are digging up a dino. Both have Ph.D's, both have the same evidence but they both will have different conclusions.

One of the rooms in the museum will be the "Two Worldview Room" where guests can get a behind the scenes look. "What you believe about where you came from directly affects your worldview," says Ham. He is the center of a heated creation/evolution debate. One secular news report referred to the Creation Museum as the "ground zero of sorts for a culture war."

There is so much more to share about this museum but why not check it out for yourself? To see the latest progress of AIG's Creation Museum you can visit here......

I for one intend to be there not long after it opens.

This sounds cool.  I wonder why its not in the news here?  Or maybe I am just missing it.

Really Tova does this really surprise you?

I have a feeling this will not be welcome news to the secular news. I believe it's the same with Holy Land In Florida. I was amazed at that place and yet very little is broadcast about that either.

You'll probably get there before I will and can let me know what it's like.

Yeah I will be checking it out.

I am shocked its not news because around here, anything that big will be giving a lot of jobs in the construction industry. That's big news usually.

I will drop the Cincinnati stations an email and see what's up. They may be covering it there and its just not reaching here...though we get one of their stations.

Let ya know.
