Is Anyone Really Surprised?
Published on October 5, 2009 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Internet

So, here we go.   This is the first I've heard of this.  Perhaps I've been too busy but the word out there says Obama wants to control the Web; making it a Washington controlled utility.   Good grief!  It's been less than a year and look what's been happening.  Can you imagine what the next three years are going to bring us?

Can't say I'm surprised.

Time will tell.

trusting Fox News on Obama news is like asking KFC for advice on the ethical treatment of chickens.

Jesus.

Google it: The Cybersecurity Act of 2009, S. 778

I love how it begans:

8  SEC. 2. FINDINGS.
9       The Congress finds the following:
10     (1) America’s failure to protect cyberspace is
11     one of the most urgent national security problems
12     facing the country.

Things only get done 'after the fact'. Its like asking...how many have to die first? Proof is in the pudding. Go figure.

It isn't a swear...its an exclamation.

to be technical it's taking the Lord's name in vain.  In our vernacular that's swearing.

a man on a cross once said "Always look on the bright side of life"

he also said you will have trials and tribulations and told us to look out for the A.C.  because then we will know the time is drawing near.

"KFC Kickin For Christ" is hardly respectful of Christ's name. 'KFC' is 'Kentucky Fried Chicken' and thus commercialised crap food, bearing no connection to any form of Christ or religion what-so-ever.

my initials (name) KFC has nothing to do with chicken.

Crumpballs!

thanks VStyler.  You've got style afterall!

control the web???. Next thing you know we will have security checks at rest rooms and background reports before you take a dump. This is all getting slightly ridiculous. I partly blame the media for their unceasing scare campaigns and the constant state of fear that they insist on keeping people in.

three words:

China..... Olympics..... Internet.

Now take those three words'  mix them up any which way putting them in a sentence etc and do a google search.  Come back and give us another answer.

But please keep it brief...I'm afraid you're going to run into hundreds of links.

Now...remember who owns the U.S?

I partly blame McCarthy.... his 'commies under the bed' thing has never left us.... and now "everyone is out to get us."

Sometimes... in fact often, it's the enemy within.

Now...remember who owns the U.S?

More like who thinks they own the US. You can only believe what you know and/or have found and truly understand.

Ah, but it isn't 'free and open', hence the "missing" comment 13. When a thread is edited to make the Op look good/whatever it's time to walk away from the train wreck of tripe that it has become.

I'm glad we have resources like Fox News.  Without them, billions of my tax dollars would have been spent on criminal organizations like ACORN.

me too!  Thank goodness for Fox!

I've noted that what purports to be news is actually more like "niche news". People watch one source because it "proves" their own viewpoint and exclude others because they cause discomfort. One should, ideally, research various issues in the printed as they tend to do more complete research. Fact checking organizations (when truly objective) can also be helpful...sort of a "Snopes".

Damn...I need to get a job with Stardock if they pay that well.

BTW...I know what you meant, and I agree.
