Leave My Toys Alone
Published on October 30, 2008 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Politics

I was not happy that we were forced to watch Obama last night.  I mean sure, we could turn off the set but maybe, just maybe we wanted to watch our regular programs.  I sure, as heck, didn't sit in front of TV with baited breath inhaling every word that spilled from his mouth.  He must really think himself worthy to do such a thing.

Did you catch Obama's comment about how the Republicans are calling him a socialist probably because he shared his toys in kindergarten?

Did you hear the laughing and cheering?  How dumb was that?  His followers are believing his lies, hook, line and sinker.

Doesn't he get it?   It's not about him sharing his toys or his peanut butter sandwich.  He can share all he wants. In fact, I would applaud that.  It's about him taking MY toys and MY sandwich and sharing it with others.  I don't know one person who is calling him a socialist because he wants to share his own toys.

In fact, how much money did he share out of his millions with his brother George living in his little mud hut?  The best way to lead is by example.

The funny thing is his people just ate it right up.  They just devour everything he says as truth.

When I watch Obama and hear him speak I can't help but think of a scripture that says this:

"they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie."

I believe we are seeing something totally supernatural here.  It's bizzare.  There's another that says:

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned to fables."

When I listen to him all I can hear is fables while others hear truth.

Agree that analogy doesn't particularly make sense.

Although your point is also an interesting one.   You claim republicans would prefer to keep their nose out of other people's business, unfortunately their candidates do not appear to support this stance.   During the previous administration, monitoring of citizen activities reached unprecedented levels and the scope of authority for such matters increased considerably.   Justification of the necessity for such activities aside, the fact remains that the ability to keep their noses in other peoples businesses magnified considerably during the period of the Republican administration.  This appears to have enjoyed a significant amount of support from the Republican party as well as Republicans in general.

While old school republicanism would balk at this type of intrusion, the current party mix and philosophies are radically different than they were thirty years ago.

Look at it this way, the right is only happy when complaining so get ready for four years of fun. Let the whining and moaning begin. Oh nevermind, I see it’s already begun.

The right?  WHo has been crying for 8 years?

And what about the 8 years before that?

It will be good to have a president that can actually achieve an erection again.   Perhaps Palin could fill Monica's position.

Hopefully we won't be the ones getting screwed!

What else do you think he needs an erection for?  Not to duel with Chavez and Amidinijad (he has stated he will be the female in that relationship).

hmmmm I wonder if that has to do with the prophecy that says that the AC will have no desire for women?

It's good to see that at least some people can maintain a sense of humor.

So how has Bush dealt with these two you mention. Oh yeah. He hasn't.

Better a feminine approach than that of an ostrich.

Isn't the Republican Party the party of Larry Craig? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The fact that there are Democratic politicians that are gay doesn't bother me in the least, after all I'm neither homophobic nor do I give a rat's ass about the legalization of gay marriage.

Republicans seem to be caught between a pair of rocks and a hard thing on this issue (pun intended) since the Republican Party is totally homophobic on the one hand while having no shortage of gay Republicans on the other. Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Bob Allen, Glenn Murphy Jr. immediately come to mind along with the aforementioned Larry Craig. If the topic interested me sufficiently I'm sure I could come up with a few more names.

It appears that selected members of the holier than thou party have been spending a lot of time on their knees and it's hasn't been because they've been doing a lot of praying. It is fall, perhaps they're just bobbing for apples?

Q: How many Gay Republican politicians can you fit in the closet?

A: Apparently, all of them.
