Take A Test and See for Yourself
Published on October 4, 2008 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Democrat

For those who are gung-ho about Obama I'd like to challange you to a little test.  Do you really know how your beliefs line up with his?  Or are you just swayed by his talk and looks with no real thought to what Obama really stands for?   It's a 48 question test.  Let's see how you do.

I took the test and no surprise I got this as my answer:

You DISAGREED with the Barack Obama position on 48 of the 48 test questions. This means you disagree with the Obama position 100% of the time.

I hope this will help you make an informed decision on Election Day!

On AD's much less ridiculous and biased version . . .

Ralph Nader (Independant)

78.57% match

Not much of a surprise there.  Gotta love how they can't even spell 'independent' right, though.  Strong work, guys, strong work.

You DISAGREED with the Barack Obama position on 39 of the 48 test questions. This means you disagree with the Obama position 81% of the time.

Yeah I thought that was funny.  From the ones I've seen online this is one of the least biased version although they don't score points on spelling .

Thanks AD for the link.

I got this response:
John McCain (Republican)

76.47% match

which makes you liking McCain more than me!!

Why certainly.

However this is quite surprising to me.  I recall taking a similar one in '04 and I had a match of 62% with Bush.  Granted I'm not overjoyed by either candidate they are the candidates closest to my views.  If Ron Paul didn't express himself like such a nut I would probably agree with him more than McCain (course Paul wasn't in this).

I doubt anything is gonna change until the primaries change.  Hmm, now theres a campaign slogan?

Chuck Baldwin (Constitution)

70.59% match

Just have to check if he is on our ballot.

John McCain

I believe that I could construct a survey in which you might also vote 48 out of 48 against McCain...if I constructed the questions and answers just right. I don't believe this was an unbiased survey.

48 might be a lot of work.

But if you can come up with 10, I'll applaud you!

(Do make sure they are points covering different subjects with no repeats.)

A few years ago I set up a similar quiz:

48 might be a lot of work.

The author of THIS survey was successful in doing so.

My point is this...I could take any question and twist the wording in the question or the answer in such a way that you had to vote how I wanted you to vote to prove my point...which I'm NOT going to waste my time doing just as I quit wasting my time on this survey which was doing the same thing. I'm not opposed to doing surveys, and I've done quite a few...but not slanted, biased surveys like this one.

Not that I support everything Obama says or believes...I do not...nor do I support everything that McCain says or believes.

Well, tan my hide and call me an Independent.

Ralph Nader (Independent)

81.36% match

With Cynthia McKinney and Barack Obama coming in at 64.41% and 57.63% respectively.

By the way, my lowest match was with McCain at 32.20%  Republicans just ain't for me, I guess.

With Cynthia McKinney

Ewww!  I would worry more about that!

on Oct 09, 2008

On AD's link, mine came across as McCain as 70.6%, Barr 62% and Nader 58%.    Just goes to show that I *still* haven't got a foggy clue who I'm voting for in 4 weeks.

Yes. I understood your point.

However, I am calling your hand.
