MCCAIN PICKS PALIN
Published on August 29, 2008 By KFC Kickin For Christ In Republican

So after all the talk by Obama about change, it was John McCain who beat him at his own game.

It's McCain who brings change to the ticket, not Obama.

Just like I've been saying all along.  Obama is all talk with not alot of substance.  He's a walking, talking empty suit.  His pick of Biden just helped to underscore the fact that when push comes to shove, it's the same old, same old afterall.

Kudos to John McCain for a great first decision as the possible next President of the United States.

While Obama talked about change, McCain just quietly went about and brought it!   Palin, a young 44 will be the first female GOP nominee ever.  Not only that, she's doing a wonderful job in Alaska (they have a surplus) and is not a hardened old school politician.  She brings a vibrant fresh look to the scene of politics.

Hillary must be steaming about now!

It's not about the talk, it's about the walk that matters in the end.

A McCain/Palin ticket will be hard to beat now.

Governer of a state with a 1.2 people per square mile (compared to I dunno washington station with a 88.6 people per square mile) and mayor of small town of 6,700 is probably the least amount of experience of vp canidates in modern history.  Whereas Obama has served as a civil rights lawyer and Constitution Law Teacher at one of the most prestegious law schools of all time, a State  senator for 7 years and a US Senator for 4 years.  If you have ever studied history one of the greatest presidents of all time Abe Lincoln had even less experience.

Yeah that sounds like Biden as well.  Did you forget he's from Delaware? Delaware and Alaska have very close populations.

Both, president candidates won't be able to bring any TRUE change, because for the most part the foreign ball has been rolling and lot of that ball has rolled into some cement.  The past 8 years have put a lot of things in motion that won't(be hard to stop). KFC or Dr, do you guys agree?  After reviewing your posts, I respect your thoughts.

To be honest with you.  I don't like McCain too much.  I kind of wish Thompson or Huckabee would have been.  Both are EXTREMELY intelligent (I would say on the same par as Ron Paul, who if he could speak his points better then just look like a bumbling Ross Perot) and both are excellent communicators.  Did you Thompson take on the Michael "Blimp" Moore or Huckabee's speech (yeah he made a misquote)?

On another note a governor does have MORE responsibility than a senator even if that gov comes from a small state.

Yes.  And a senator has to build consensus.  A Governor has to act - much like a president.  The reason the founders made the president a one man show is that committees do not work when decisiveness is needed.

I can honesly say, that I do not believe Palin would be able to lead the United States.  She is not right for America at all.  I was leaning towards McCain, but after the Palin pick, I went straight to the middle.  I cannot trust my life that is wrapped up in scandal, who has been in hiding avoiding questions from the press.  Why hide?  I want to hear her speak, so I feel comfortable about her becoming the next commander in chief if he has to.  So far I think it has tobe a dangerous move.

Just an observation - but that negates the rest of your response. And indicates (not confirms, indicates) you were never leaning towards McCain, but instead are just a seminar poster.  That and the fact that your response looks exactly like the email I received (I am on the DNC mailing list since I once campaigned for a democrat).

You're not saying why.  Why isn't she right for America?

are you saying we have an inposter in our midst?

I once campaigned for a democrat).

He was and is a good friend.  But when I say democrat, he was never a liberal one like the ones in DC.  Just a friendly Virginia one.
